Girl, take a tablespoon of honey by itself, or drink some hot tea with honey-no lemon! (lemon strips your vocal chords and makes it worse). Or...eat an apple!

Dionysus-To be honest...you're a good person-most people wouldn't admit that. they just go along with the program.

Mz.Destiny, LNF117, thanks for the additional M.Brown-Clark info. gotta love GC.

...and I will be there for the GC Mass choir concert on the "fif Sunday."

It doesn't matter what color the robes are, just please don't take 15 minutes to "march in" like the Senior Choir, all because Mother Maebelle's son, Travernious, just came back from the west coast with a new step!

Whatchoo know about Ted and Sheri? They can sing their ABC's for me and I will cut a step! They have also done time with O'landa Draper & The Associates. John P. Kee & New Life and Donald Lawrence & Tri-City. I don't believe Sheri had been with Richard Smallwood. That's just Ted, and that was only on the last Vision project. Ted and Richard are both DC based. However, Sheri sang background vocals on the Kim Burrell Live project. Ted is on the Bishop Eddie Long and New Birth Cathedral project.

BtB- Come up off of that Bishop Brown CD sweetie...Maurette ain't a new artist! lol

Can y'all tell by now I love gospel???

I like that Ted and Sherri song on Hezzie's CD. It is called "He's On your side"....man, that song been having me slain in da spirit lately. Thanks for the info. on Ted and Sherri though.

Are you referring to Bishop Ronald Brown? I love that man. It reminds me of my grandmother. I grew up COGIC and that is exactly how we used to have "chuch"

And yes mzdestiny, you LOOVVVEE gospel music

Also, don't forget about the fish fry dat's gone be in the fellowship hall on this upcoming friday to raise money for da robes. Tell yo' coworkers that we deliver too

SistahSoror, I'll just pay for my robe outright, 'cause it's too hot to be in the kitchen or outside over that deep fryer tryin' to do some fish (but please be sho' to save me some along with some jiffy cornbread and a mason jar of sweet tea!).

And Mz. Destiny kinda hooked a sistah up with some more Bishop Brown - had to watch myself when I was driving 'cause I was having "chuch" in my car all by myself!

And you grew up COGIC? I'm currently COGIC (grew up Baptist).

**. . .you cain't join in, you got to be boorrrrrrn in. . .**

there is a young lady here in houston you all should check out. her name is shei atkins. she's gospel/inspirational and she's what aaliyah would've sounded like if she did gospel.

she'll soon be going on tour and i've had the chance to see her sing live twice (she sang this morning at my undergrad chapter's prayer breakfast). you can get her cd at cdbaby.com. you can listen to samples of the song.

please, please, please check her out and buy it because you won't be disappointed. she's such a sweet young lady with an enormous amount of potential and i'd love to know what you all think about her!!
