OK, I know I'm tuning in late but . . .
First off, I have to say that I HATED the quiz. Is that new this year, or have they done it before? I haven't watched Miss America in a few years. You could tell by Miss Hawaii's facial expression that she had no clue what most of the answers were, she was just guessing, yet she ended up doing really well. If anything, don't make it multiple choice, because then somebody with great luck can easily score just as high as somebody who actually knows the anwers.
Also, I hated Miss Maryland's clothes in the casual competition. Whoever said that she looked like she was trapped in the 80s -- ditto. I had jeans like that when I was seven. I am not making that up.
I loved Florida, Hawaii (I thought she should have won, actually, but Florida was wonderful too), and of course Wisconsin. I liked Miss California until the talent competition, which I think is what did her in (both her choice of song and the fact that she was probably the weakest of the four singers). I liked that Miss Wisconsin's talent was something other than singing. Maryland just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason -- maybe it was those 80s clothes.

Her clothes during the talent section didn't impress me, and I can't remember her formal or swimsuit but I probably didn't like those either.

I loved Miss Oklahoma and wish she would have made the top five.
I was surprised Wisconsin made it as far as she did -- not that she wasn't awesome, but usually we never even make it to the top 15. Of course, I would have thrown something if she hadn't at least made it to the top ten. How can you not give a girl major points for skipping high school and going straight to college?
I liked casual wear -- thought it was cute -- and hated Trista and Ryan's "party." Who cares?
