I am not going to hate on her.... too much. She actually looks decent in some of those pictures. Some of her hairstyles are a fool, but some of the pictures do her a little justice. Sometimes she looks down right ugly!

will and jada's new video.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith has a new video out called "1000 kisses". It aired on BET 106th today. I thought it was just sooo cute. She even sang a light verse. Primarily he was talking/rapping about his love for her.
you can catch maybe a little glimpse of their video (pictures) on

Two thumbs up for Will and SOROR Jada...doing the damn thang...showing how awesome and sustaining black love can be. I saw the video today, and I must say that I absolutely love Will and Jada as a couple. Probably since they're my age, I relate well to the message. I love seeing their professional success and devotion to family and marriage.

New Edition reunite without Bobby Brown

NEW YORK (AP) -- New Edition won't have to cool it now -- they've signed a new recording contract.

The former teen group has been signed to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records. They're set to deliver a new disc by next spring, the same year they'll celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their first album.

However, Bobby Brown, one of the group's most famous members, won't be part of the reunion. Instead, the disc will feature Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe and Johnny Gill, who replaced Brown when he left in 1987.

"New Edition carved the path for what we know to be R&B today," Combs said Monday. "I look forward to working with all the members closely on their new album and reintroducing the world to a brand-new New Edition."

"Cool It Now," "Candy Girl" and "If It Isn't Love" were among New Edition's biggest hits in the 1980s.

The quintet performed together on a reunion tour this year.

Words from a SANGER...lol

Chaka Khan slams pop
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- Ain't nobody does it better than Chaka Khan, some R&B music lovers might say.

But the Grammy-winning singer insists there are a handful of new-generation vocalists who come real close -- though the music scene today is swamped by flavorless tunes and shallow talent, she says. "Sometimes I wonder what business this is I'm in today -- is it a circus, a fashion show or what?" Khan told a news conference Wednesday during a visit to this Southeast Asian country.

"It's like anybody who has a look can be a singer or entertainer now. The talent is almost not necessary anymore," she said. "I think a lot of people are out there making videos, singing and making a lot of money based on nothing but a cute shape and a pretty face."

Khan, who came to prominence as the vocalist for the 1970s soul-funk group Rufus and had a string of solo hits in the 1980s such as "Ain't Nobody," "I'm Every Woman" and "I Feel For You," said many modern songwriters seem to have "stunted imaginations" and sample tiredly from classic R&B riffs without mixing in fresh inspiration.

Ex-'Road Rules' Cast Member Killed In Crash
10.21.2002 6:17 PM EDT

Michelle Parma

Michelle Parma, the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader who graced the third season of "Road Rules," was killed Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision. She was 27.

Parma was traveling from Dallas to Houston on Interstate 45 with her cousin Mandie Parma, 28, who was also killed in the crash. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Austin Hodges, 16, lost control of his vehicle and crossed the median, hitting the Parmas' Jeep head on. After the Parmas' vehicle was hit, it rotated and was struck by another northbound vehicle, a Kia driven by Barbara Kroll, 30.

Hodges and Kroll reported no serious injuries, while Michelle and Mandie Parma, who were both wearing seatbelts, died at the scene, according to the office of Judge John Kleimann, who pronounced them. Their bodies were taken to Cashner Funeral Home.

Parma appeared in the Europe cast of "Road Rules" in 1996. Along with her castmates Chris, Antoine, Patrice and Belou, she traveled Europe for 10 weeks by Winnebago, train and boat. She ran with the bulls in Spain, put together a fireworks show to celebrate Bastille Day in France and nursed two sick seals back to health and set them free in Amsterdam.

After "Road Rules," Parma, who had studied drama and communications at the University of North Texas, moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She later moved back to Texas to become a flight attendant for Southwest. Parma most recently appeared on the Road Rules "Extreme Challenge" last year.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Unity Church of Dallas. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be made to the United Network for Organ Sharing: 1100 Boulders Parkway, Suite 500, Box 13770, Richmond, VA 23225-8770. Remembrances can be sent to the family in care of Bunim/Murray Productions, Box 10421, Van Nuys, CA 91410.

Lil' Kim and P. Diddy No Longer Speaking

(Katrillion) -- You may have noticed that Lil' Kim and P. Diddy have broken their musical ties.

Turns out Kim is no longer on speaking terms with the rap mogul, who managed her career for several years, served as executive producer for her last album and shared the microphone with the rapstress on tunes such as "All About the Benjamins."

Kim recently dished to The Source magazine about what went down and why she thinks the artist/producer formerly known as Puff Daddy is not all that.

"I think that Puff has a lot to learn in the game still," she said. "I'm grateful to have worked with him, but there are a lot of things I didn't like. He ignored a lot of things that were important. He was my manager, he's supposed to be managing me. I was doing way more for him than he was doing for me. It wasn't a two-way street and it hurt."

Lil' Kim recently recorded a soon-to-be-released album without Puffy's help. Ironically, he is now executive producer for the upcoming album by Foxy Brown, Kim's rap rival.

Jordan to Ex-Lover: Just Don't Do It!

by Josh Grossberg
Oct 24, 2002, 10:30 AM PT

Michael Jordan's about to play hardball.

No, His Airness isn't about to give up hoops for another crack at baseball; rather, the basketball god known for great defense on the court is going on the legal offensive, suing an ex-lover he claims is trying to extort millions of dollars from him.

In the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Chicago's Cook County Circuit Court, the former Chicago Bulls star and current Washington Wizard admits to paying the woman, identitifed as Karla Knafel, $250,000 to keep a lid on their dalliance.

However, the suit claims, Knafel wasn't satisfied with the quarter-mil, and she allegedly contacted Jordan's lawyers and demanded an additional payment of $5 million, otherwise, she said, she go public with their affiar.

The lawsuit states Jordan never agreed to pay his onetime mistress anything more than the $250,000, which he initially gave her so she would "not to publicly expose their relationship."

The suit contends her request for additional hush money amounted to "extortion" and violated Illinois' fraud statute, since Knafel had previously agreed not to expose their affair, and Jordan never signed any such agreement in writing. (The complete court document can be found online at The Smoking Gun Website.)

The lawsuit indicates the affair took place more than a decade ago, but did not specify when it began or ended and whether it had anything to do with Jordan's wife, Juanita, filing for divorce last January. Juanita Jordan, who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, withdrew that petition 31 days later, saying she and Michael would try to work things out.

(The Chicago Tribune quoted friends as saying the petition caught Michael off guard, and he pushed for the reconciliation. The couple tied the knot on September 2, 1989.)

The new complaint seeks a declaration from a judge that Knafel's demand is "unenforceable" and requests an injunction against her or any other persons acting on her behalf from "engaging in further efforts to extort money from Mr. Jordan."

The suit also asks the judge to grant Number 23 any necessary relief the court feels is proper, up to and including a jury trial for the supposed shakedown.

The six-time NBA champion, who spent most of his career with the Bulls before retiring in 1999 and then coming back as a Wizard, is staying mum on the subject. "That's private. That's totally private," said Jordan after being bombarded by reporters' questions following a Wednesday night exhibition game. "I think the statement speaks for itself."

Jordan's attorney, Fred Sperling, reiterated as much this morning: "The complaint says everything Michael Jordan has to say."

The FBI in Chicago and the Cook County state attorney's office refused to comment on whether they were looking into the extortion accusations for a possible criminal charge.

Little is known about Knafel other than what was in Jordan's complaint.

Attempts to reach Jordan's former mistress for comment were unsuccessful, however, the Tribune reported that a woman claiming to be Knafel's sister said Knafel was out of town.

Parker, Broderick and Baby!
Tue Oct 29, 1:05 PM ET
By Marcus Errico

All that sex in the city comes to this: Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick are playing parents to a new baby boy.

The Parker-Broderick joint made his debut early Monday morning in Manhattan, according to the actress' publicist, Ina Treciokas.

The rep says the child checked in at six pounds, eight ounces and measured 19 and a half inches. Mom, dad and tyke are all said to be doing well.

Treciokas, however, disputes a New York Post report that the child was named David Perkins Broderick. The Post claimed a placard placed outside the couple's Lenox Hill Hospital room announced the moniker; Treciokas says the boy is still nameless.

According to the newspaper, the baby was born around 3 a.m., and, according to unnamed hospital sources, Parker's labor was remarkably smooth--the baby arrived after only an hour of pushing.

The Post also says the couple came to the hospital "with two cars full of security guards in tow" and was taken to a "heavily guarded" private room on the sixth floor.

Aside from Broderick, who was in the delivery room, the Post reports, Parker's Sex and the City (news - Y! TV) pal Cynthia Nixon (news) managed to make it past security and briefly visited the newbie parents on Monday. Nixon is also preggers and is due later this year.

This is the first baby for the 37-year-old Parker and her 40-year-old husband. The twosome celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in May.

Parker is facing a few months of diaper duty before resuming her Sex and the City chores. The show's fifth season was split in two after producers decided not to incorporate Parker's surprise pregnancy in the plot, with the second portion to begin shooting in February.

Broderick, late of Broadway's The Producers, will next be seen in the ABC TV movie version of the classic musical The Music Man, slated for a February sweeps airdate.
