Molly Sims - judge on the far left; currently on NBC's Las Vegas; former Old Navy Spokesmodel; former host of MTV's House Of Style; and was featured in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition - is a Delta Delta Delta (Vanderbilt).
Fun Fact: Miss Sims is originally from Murray, Kentucky and babysat my niece.

I still don't understand how Illinois made it so far. Every other word she said was "UM".
I was happy that Chelsea won, she had the best and quickest answers during the question section. I really would like to know what Miss California was whispering to Miss North Carolina before they crowned her.

Congrats to Miss North Carolina. I was impressed with Miss Oklahoma. I watched her on Miss USA Fear Factor. She hasn't even finished High School (she is graduating in a couple of months). To have that much poise

I voted on the website a few weeks ago and surpirisingly, there were more girls wearing tacky dresses than not. With the exception of Pennsylvania and maybe one other, the classy dresses made it into the final 15.
Sadly, there were lots of tacky dresses like Miss Pensylvania's. But yes, it was horrid. Save it for the swimsuit competition.

I loved Miss Illinois. That's how you talk if you experimented with a lot of drugs as a kid. I loved her alligator story so much.

I'm glad that North Carolina won...even though I was rooting for California. Both women were gorgeous!
I knew Illinois was not going to win, but I was surprised that Florida ended up talking 4th runner up...I though that spot would be for Illinois.
I HATED Utah's dress...it was absolutely HORRID! I thought Pennsylvania's dress was better than Utah's...I think she wanted to emulate Queen Elizabeth I old Victorian type dress...but the ruffle wasn't big enough. That was UGGGLY!
And yes! Miss America 2004's dress was WAAAY too revealing (well her last dress...the one she wore for the crowning of miss USA 2005). But it is the sign of the times I guess...you gotta show something nowadays.
Oklahoma was impressive...but I thought the age limit for Miss USA was 19 or 20? Shouldn't Oklahoma have been miss Teen USA? Oh well.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found her to be completely inarticulate.
I loved Miss Florida. She was beautiful, smart, funny, and owns a business not far (2 miles, I think!) from my house.

I didn't think it was *that* bad. It seemed like she may have been looking to emulate Jennifer Hawkin's dress from when she won Miss Universe 2004. See: http://www.pageant.com/universe2004/index.htm At least, that's the first thing I thought of whe I saw it.
I think Miss Michigan USA needs to win a prize for one of the worst gowns EVER. It just was not flattering at all.

That one that Miss Universe 2004 was wearing is gorgeous. The ruffle aroudn the collar was not overly done, and it showed a little bit of cleavage...but Utah's dress wasn't like that. It seemed like she used a little too much starch on the ruffle on the collar and that is what made it stand up a little too much.
Was it me...or did it look like one of the 15 in the evening gowns (I think it was Massachusetts) look like she has a breast augmentation? lol...don't ask me why I thought that, but her boobs do look rather odd in the evening dress.

I think it's interesting that Laci (who hasn't graduated HS yet) is Miss Oklahoma USA, but Crystal (who has been out of HS for a year apparently) is Miss TEEN Oklahoma USA.
(I checked out their bios on MissOklahomaUSA.org

I completely agree. To go into SUCH a male dominated field as construction, looking so beautiful, could not have been a walk in the park. I thought she was all of the above, plus I loved her dress!
