A group of the Yankees (Jeter and Torre included) were actually on the top step politely clapping for the Sox. Say what you will about Jeter (as he has his share of haters here in Boston), the guy is a class act.

There really does seem to be a new respect between the teams - while there are bouts of hostility (centered around A-Rod opening his mouth), it's not exactly the Munson-Fisk days when there was a fight every series.

This is exactly what I love about baseball.
