I think that if you added up other orgs along with their alumni chapters they would all be up there. I also didn't see anything saying that was active chapters either...

Our number of active chapters is 893--388 collegiate and 505 alumnae. We do not count chapters that have been inactive for more than five years. So the 900+ does include suspended chapters that will be reactivated at the end of the disciplinary period, and inactive chapters that have not reached the 5 year limit.

This breakdown is not on the web, but it is in our Corporate Report, which is a public document. Since Grand Chapter only convenes every two years (we hold regional conferences in between national conventions) the Report is published every two years.
