well it seems like the classic "male" syndrome of wanting a son to be just like him....I can't imagine men like this wanting daughters...that would just f*ck 'em up in the head too much.
I know that there are guys like this out there and I think marriage is the worst thing for them....unless some dramatic life changing action happens and they do a 180....otherwise, just stay a player for the rest of their lives...which leads to the obvious question...is he ready for the responsibility of fatherhood, the WHOLE nine yards and all the love and heartache that goes with being a parent.
I am doubtful of guys like this being in a committed, 1-women relationship, being a parent is entirely different kettle of fish.
