why speed it up for her family? that sounds selfish. This is a natural way to go and she's not feeling anything. Her parents have had 15 years to pretend she's fine, let them have a few days to realize she's not.
ETA: Also- there's the issue that euthanasia, aka assisted suicide, is not legal in Florida. She has to go to either Oregon or The Netherlands.
