I agree with the above sister.... while recruitment is important learning a skit should NEVER cause health and mental wellness to suffer! that being said...

some general rules about formal recruitment skits I have found are:

1) skits should ALWAYS follow a theme for the whole party. ie... baseball skits with a baseball theme.... movie skit with a movie theme, etc. this helps it to stick with pnm's, it also gives them something easy to remember about your party.

2) KISS... keep it simple sister! something short, memorable and fun is always best.

3) check with the group that runs formal recruitment (our panhel advisor was in charge) ask for specifics for your campus... what are spending limits? (also check with your chapters treasurer for a budget) , can the pnm's eat or take anything out of the room? remember your greek advisors are there to HELP you.. ask for it

any idea what kind of party theme you are planning? Some themes we used in the past are: "Sigma Cinema", "Join the Sigma Team" (baseball), "Sigma PJ Party"

of course a lot of theme ideas are dependant on things like budget and how far other chapters on your campus go. (you don't want to do a little bit of a theme when other chapters go all out)
