That was a long article...and I didn't read every single word, but I did catch several Delta Tau's commenting on how the wrestling coach shouldn't be able to keep the wrestlers from joining, he's "interfering with their rights" and they should have "his head on a plate", etc.

I understand the anger, and maybe he's encroaching on some rights, but has anyone asked the Coach why he doesn't want his wrestlers involved in fraternities????. The Coach did make one statement about having to go to the police station (which may not be 100% relevant, but...), so I'm guessing that this guy is fed up with behaviors and wants to distance himself and his team from it.

Maybe Delta Tau should have a calm discussion with him, hear his concerns, and then address them through changing their behaviors (if the coach can articulate valid concerns). Fighting him on this because "it's their right" won't help them build credibility.

(of course, I don't know the whole situation, so my advice may be a little off, but acknowledging concerns and addressing them will build ANY group's credibility. At the very least it couldn't hurt!).
