Especially the first, which was "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in the UK and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in the US. But my impression was always that the main differences were changes in words that carry one meaning in the UK and a different meaning in the US -- to cite the example given above, I think lots of Americans would be very confused at the thought that Ms. Weasley made Harry and Ron "jumpers" for Christmas. Going into a whole different kind of fiction there.
