I feel it's only fair to give the update, even if it means I look like a schmuck.

So a week after I said I didn't want to talk to him anymore, we started talking again. In the end, I didn't feel like my life was better off without him.

And then he goes and gets me a Valentine's Day gift....what did he want to go and do that for? It was belated, but it was still appreciated.

I was weak, GC. I was weak.

I am actually happy though....so far, so good. I don't feel like I am losing anything by allowing him in my life. But he'll be right back out if he makes me feel the way I did in post #1 ever again.
