Actually my life insurance policy with prudential questioned me about these activities. If I do them, I wouldn't qualify for a certain level of coverage. If insurance companies can do it, why not the workplace?
It is indeed intrusive, but let's not attack a radical decision because you are afraid he'll open the door to any and all other affairs.
Right now all he is attacking smoking and overweight people, two very huge problems in the workplace. Until he suggests no sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll, don't create any ridiculous hypos.
