Yes, it is a commercialized day. I'm not a high-maintenance girl (no matter what anyone says! ) but I want some acknowledgement of the day. I don't want to feel like my guy's picking his principles over my feelings. I would feel hurt if he refused to do so much as a card or small gesture.

But THIS YEAR, Feb 14 has a totally different twist - I will be getting married to the man I love!!

We will be 'eloping' to Key West, FL, gettinng married at City Hall. No one there but the two of us... As much as I liked having a Big Fat Wedding, that's not who I am now. (Been there, done that, have the allbum to show for it.) We've had a rough year and are so looking forward to being alone together in a warm climate and taking our vows...

Now, THAT'S exciting!!
