Send me a pm if you want more information.
Ironically, I went to the GTAPP informational session today, and that is the first step towards my future. The Georgia Teachers Alternative Preparation Program is supposed to help those with college degrees outside of education earn their clear, renewable GA teaching certificates. Some counties have their own variation of the program as approved by the GA Professional Standards Commission. I'm hoping that a principal can see that I can add a lot to their school and will decide to hire me.

I thought about special education, but I know it's not for me. I barely have patience with the regular children. Thanks for the info.
