Actually I *CAN'T* understand that the server didn't know the crust had almonds in it. I don't know about Friday's, but I have several friends who are working or have worked as servers in those types of restaurants and they are seriously TESTED and GRILLED (no pun intended
) over each menu item. They have to remember everything what it is made from and the kinds of sauces the entrees come with it. So there's really no excuse just like you said.
I do agree that their response was pretty rude. and I would def. be upset about it too. you can bet their corporate office would be hearing about it if it was me and their manager didn't want to do anything about it.
