The manager's response is incredible. There's no way in hell that could fly at any other restaurant. If I were the manager and I found out that my waitress treated a customer like that, I'd be irate, and I'd do anything to rectify the situation. Comped dinner, gift certificate, anything so that my higher ups wouldn't find out.
As someone who also works in the food and hospitality industry, I'd be shitting bricks right now because the events of tonight could easily spell L-A-W-S-U-I-T!

I totally agree with OTW. If i was the manager the server wouldve been fired. I wouldnt necessarily scream lawsuit yet, however if they do not offer to pay your ER bills and whatever medications they may give you such as epinephrine or any kind of brochial dilator or anything(jsut throwing out ideas here) and them not pay for any of that, then I'd be suing not just for the bills but the trauma and trouble it caused you.
