Of course most of the greeks are white and affluent, most of its students are! I often have found that the most exclusive, elitist and discriminatory group are the faculty. They are guilty of intellectual elitism and frequently discriminate against students solely on the basis of their membership in a fraternity or sorority. It also seems that some of them view greeks through the cloud of 60's anti-establishment thinking, seeing greek life as some sort of conservative endoctrination program. It makes me glad that I work at a state university where there are constitutional protections against such actions.
