Yup, $10000 is correct. Some of it comes from our dues/housing, and the rest comes from the trustee organization for my chapter. We use some it for rush events like bar nights and rushee dinners during the semester before rush. Our other parties come from our social budget, which is about $8100 per semester. We have about $8,000 of the original $10000 left for formal rush.
Some of our events include:
*International Beer night
*Paint Ball
*Surf and Turf Dinner
*4 Strippers
*Beer Olympics
*Casino Night Semi-Formal
*Skiing
*A general open house party
*And then the usual smokers
