Eek... in my chapter we are to "ask permission" from any sister who has ever previously dated or been seriously involved with a boy
we are thinking about dating... no matter how long ago it was... just common courtesy!
Personally I like the idea because it keeps the sisterhood stronger and helps prevent a lot of drama... i.e., friendships that get torn apart by, well, boys
