Greek letters equivilant to English

here are the ones I think to know,but please correct me if I am wrong:
alpha = a
beta = b
gamma = g
delta = like a soft th like in "the"
epsilon = e
sigma = soft s
mu = m
nu = n
upsilon = u or y
omega = long o
omicron = short o
chi = throaty "ch"
xi = x like in taxi
theta = th like in "path"
iota = one form of i but I think there are four more
phi = f
pi = p
kappa = k
lambda = l

Do Greek letters correspond with English ones? It seems obvious that letters like alpha (A), beta (B) and iota (|) etc are just like their english counterparts, but what letters in English do the "weirdly" written ones correspond to (like sigma, theta, lambda, upsilon etc). Is there a site that shows the equivilant?
