i would just like to say that i get annoyed when people say "just use the search function." i have been on gc a while and truthfully can not use the search function to get appropriate results. no matter what my key word may be....i get a ton of things that have no relevance to what i want. oh, and let's not forget that there is a mininum number of letters, so you can't even search for "phi mu."

give the new people a break...

It's not the new people that are really the problem... it's the old schoolers who still can't figure out what forum things should go in. And we're not talking iffy subjects that could go in either, it's very obvious posts

I agree. Those old schoolers who can't figure out what posts we're talking about and then bitch because they expect us to provide links just because their sorry asses can't think fast enough make GC a horrible place too.

Being that this is GreekChat, and most of the people who post here are university students, I'd have to say that the Library of Congress Classification system might be more appropriate.

That's a very good point. I just never had LC cataloging, just DDS cataloging. LC still confuses me.

I would have to agree with that. Does it belong in GC at all? Maaaybe in Chit Chat but it just seems inflamatory all around.
