Hell, after 20+ years outta high school, why is it that I still know the lyrics of my high school's alma mater and fight song?
NORTH MIAMI SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ALMA MATER
Oh! Hail to thee, our Alma Mater, for in our hearts we sing to thee:
O'er the fair Atlantic shore, the sun fills each new day
With bright hopes now and more each morrow, for the Green and Gray!
To thee we pledge our loyalty, to thee our minds and hearts
From thy radiant Green and Gray, our love will ne'er depart!
Hail to North Miami, hail to North Miami, hail to thee!
FIGHT SONG
Fight, fight you Pioneers, we're gonna drive right through that line
We're gonna hit 'em high, we're gonna hit 'em low, show 'em that we're gonna go, go, go!
And then we'll forge on to victory, and we'll be sure the whole world hears -
We've got the best team in the land, at North Miami, the Pioneers!
As far as I know, the music and lyrics of our alma mater are original compositions; many other high school alma mater songs I've heard borrow the tune from 'High Above Cayuga's Waters' and make the alma mater lyrics fit. I don't know about the fight song's origin, though.

Because you like showing everyone that you know random useless things that only you care about.

Warsaw Community High School, Warsaw IN
Colors were Orange and black. We were (oddly enough, look at the colors), the Tigers.
Cool alum - For any of you Lakers fans, Rick Fox went to my school.
Also, on a sidebar - - All the drama lately with Howard Stern and Bubba the Love Sponge..."Bubba" is an alum of my high school as well. Leave it to Wartucky (Warsaw) to produce "Bubba the Love Sponge"

Ryan High in Denton, TX
Colors-Red, White, and a touch of blue(yes, that was OFFICIAL)
Mascot-Raiders, as in Yosimite Sam. Yes, the cartoon character, and yes we had a huge head that looked like him for our mascot to wear. We were a new school, and my senior year was the first official graduating class, so we got to choose Raiders-we were thinking the cool raiders, nope. the first year our mascot dressed like "raiders of the lost arc" the 3rd year started the whole Yosimite Sam thing. My school board were a bunch of morons.
Graduating class of 501.

Hickman High School in Columbia, MO
Colors are purple and gold
I think we're the only high school in the nation to have a kewpie doll as a mascott... I wonder why
Apparently, like a hundred and some years ago when it was built, Hickman had a horrible basketball team and was getting raped by the other teams. During one of these games, a reporter stated that we were getting "crushed like kewpie dolls." Apparently we kept the name.
BUT.. Hickman is now known for its sports... Girls bball... #9 in the nation baby!

VJ & Angela Skutt Catholic High School
Mascot: The Skyhawk (???)
Colors: Kelly green, black, and silver
My graduating class was 100 people, maybe a couple less. Apparently there is a cap on every grade, no more than 200 people would be allowed per grade ever. It's a relatively new school though and when I graduated in 2001, I think there were only about 600 some odd students in all grades 9-12
No famous alums
