W&B: How about snow angels?
We used to do Winter Wonderland as our theme for the first day of rush. Since we could only serve icewater, we used crushed ice in cups with spoons - sort of like flavorless snow-cones. We had lots of white and silver blue decorations and clear Christmas tree lights, although I can't remember anything really specific. Since this was back in the day when we all had matching rush outfits made, we wore white jumpsuit-type (yuck! but it was the 80's) pants/tops with white fuzzy/furry trim around the neck. We had August rush, and we were usually all really tan, so it looked good. I remember snowmen for nametags one year, and snowflake nametags another year. We also used that spray-on snow one year to cover the Rho Chis' pictures on the composites - just a white blob on the glass so you couldn't see them. Unfortunately the snow did something to the glass, so after we wiped off the "snow" there was still a blurry cloud over certain sisters' pictures. (I like the other suggestion about the fake sprinkle snow.) We did the "Pi Phi Winter Wonderland" song, so every time I hear that song I hear those words instead of "walking in a ..."
