My favorite season is San Francisco. My least favorite seasons in order are 1)Seattle- I've never seen a more whiny concided, backstabbing bunch of people in my whole life. This group gave the 18-24 year old demographic a bad name. I won't even watch the re-runs 2)Hawaii- Matt was such a dork. And that green shirt of his was aweful
3)London- what a boring season that was

In my opinion...
Season 1 NY: most genuine
fave people: Heather B
people I disliked/hated: Becky, cuz she seemed kinda stuck up
memorable moment: Heather w/ Norman's dog!
Season 2 LA: still somewhat real
fave people: Jon, David (for all 5 minutes that he was in the house)
people I disliked/hated: Glen, Beth A
memorable moment: Tami & David ("it wasn't not funny") & when they moved Dominik's truck as a prank
Season 3 San Fran: most memorable
fave people: Pedro, Judd
people I disliked/hated: PUCK!!!
memorable moment: kicking Puck out
Season 4 London: the beginning of the downfall
fave people: Lars, Kat, Neil
people I disliked/hated: Jacinda, Mike
memorable moment: Neil's tongue incident
Season 5 Miami: most loudmouthed/obnoxious
fave people: Cynthia
people I disliked/hated: everyone else
memorable moment: Shower scene
Season 6 Boston: cast members who are most likely to get in trouble
fave people: Elka, Jason
people I disliked/hated: Montana
memorable moment: Kameelah(sp?) telling the guy in the subway that "pst pst" is not a way to talk to women
Season 7 Seattle: most snooze factor
fave people: David
people I disliked/hated: Irene, Nathan
memorable moment: slap heard 'round the world (honorable mention: "all of america thinks I'm Gay")
Season 8 Hawaii: Baywatch meets RW
fave people: Teck
people I disliked/hated: everyone else
memorable moment: Ruthie's first night hosital visit
Season 9 "Big Sleazy": era of sheltered people begins
fave people: ehh, none really
people I disliked/hated: David
memorable moment: besides the obvious Melissa moments, I liked when Julie produced the show.
So Far...
Season 10 NY-2: most artificial
fave people: Rachel, Nicole
people I disliked/hated: Coral
memorable moment: Lori & Rachel alone in the frat house and Rachel getting "molested" at the club

The first season I ever saw was Miami, so I can't make a good judgement as to what's the best. It seems that everyone is saying the earlier ones were the best, which I never saw except for clips during reunion shows...

Was that really necessary? Had you come up with "funny" nicknames for the other cities, I could see its place, but why single New Orleans out? New Orleans is a lovely city, and I was relatively happy with how my hometown was portrayed on TV.

You so did not play the "It wasnt not funny" card. That was THE BEST. Hows about the bone chilling shrieks of, "Daaavid stop, stop, staaaaaaaaaaaap!" Also you forgot Tami's outburst of "I'm gonna hit 'chu, and its gonna hurt." Followed by the truism, "stupid ass." How could you not love tami?

Please don't be offended juniorgrrl, I don't think Leslie came up with that name by herself. Many people in the media (MTV included) referred to the N.O. season as the Big Sleazy. I don't think it was a reflection of your hometown--but it was a good description of the cast, IMO.

Lifesaver: you are so right - very funny!
OTW: thank you for my defense
Juniorgrrl: indeed I was not trying to insult New Orleans, but as OTW mentioned it is often refered to (even on the show) as the "Big Easy/Sleezy"...I didn't intend to offend.

I think we all get defensive when people attempt to put down our hometowns. When I watched the Hawaii season, even I got offended as to how MTV portrayed Hawaii...because there's certainly nothing "REAL" about 7 20-somethings living in a $3 million dollar house in Black Point (one of the ritziest neighborhoods on Oahu). Their Local Motion jobs wouldn't have been enough to pay off half their rent.

Boston was great; I had a nice little crush going on Elka. I did a year of military school (before the Boston Season) down in Harlingen so it was weird to see her go where i had been before. Hawaii was another good one Amaya I thought was going to go the distance but after she started crying I just started to make fun of her.

An MMA kinda kid. OK. I know lots of people who went there. Anyway, I have a good friend who went to Porter HS (I think thats where they went) in Brownsville with Elka. I can assure you from talking to him, and about 25 other people who went to HS with her, that she was NOT the virgin she portrayed herslf to be. I guess if I was going on MTV I'd clean my image up a bit too.
