I live in a furnished on-campus apartment. Basically, its a fancy dorm. Its 4 BR/2 bath with a kitchen, living room and laundry room.
I don't have my room decorated much - I was lazy last semester. The rooms in the apartments are crazyass small. I've got so many electronics in my room, it runs a few degrees hotter than the rest of the apartment! LOL! I'm planning on making a french bulletin board for it this year (with the criss-cross ribbons) and getting some nice framed pictures - I don't like posters much.
My roomates and I never really got around to decorating our living room either - we all agreed that since we don't live there full time, year round, why spend a lot of money to decorate it.
I had other roomates that decided to decorate - with pictures of them and their friends!!! I came back from Christmas and the living room was covered with pictures of them!
