And what about good human beings? What do they do? Does being a good mother mean that you can't also be a good human being and child of the Creator? Because I can't believe that someone who is a good human being and child of the Creator would do something so hateful and spiteful all in the name of looking out for her kids and being a good mother. Sometimes, there is a bigger picture. I love my family and would do almost anything for them, but that does not lessen my love for humankind and justice. IMO, what she did was not just and was not righteous. Not even a little bit. Wicked is the word that comes to mind.
A good mother would show her children how to prevail JUSTLY, not spitefully, and definitely not out of fear. Because if she wasn't scared, why'd she do it? You just don't do stuff like that. It's not the children's fault that they were born out of wedlock nor is it their fault that no paternity tests were done. However, ultimately it will be them who suffer from her actions.
