So they didn't actually vote on it? Jill told me yesterday that they had changed that.
Switching quota would be silly and counterproductive. It would screw the smaller groups in the Spring, because so few girls rush the bigger houses could take most of them. Though this wouldn't necessarily be bad for our house, it wouldn't have the desired effect.
Why the talk of lowering quota? Seems that things have progressively been closer to equal for more groups, with the exception of the few that want to stay small (or at least the 1 that seems to like to stay small).
I think you guys need to check out the NPC green book on these ideas- such as the 2 separate quotas- I'm not even sure if that's legal. When Jill told me about this thing yesterday, I posted over in Greek Life because I thought it was so bizarre. If you'd want to explain the reasoning (as far as you know!) I know i'd be quite interested.
