There is a big difference between communicating (in a civil manner) and arguing. An internet message board is made for communicating, but when it resorts to the elementary level that this thread has come to (people disrespecting one another) that is arguing and it is, in fact, retarded to the third power.

Point Taken! My intentions were not to be elementary, but to state facts and give clarity to the situation. But opinions are expressed on websites like these. That is why they do have chat rooms. But your view on the use of the internet is interesting and can be discussed.
