Beta Omega has some sad news...

Well, my chapter had a little ordeal last week. ALL of our ritual gear was stolen out of our Archon's car (commuter college - no house, room, anything). We have basically nothing! And to make matters worse, the ladies are initiating 12 more ladies on Sunday. Delta Delta (the other Oregon chapter) has been kind enough to loan us a few items thankfully.

But, it makes me sad because we know it was probably ditched once they realized it wasn't anything special. My main concern is that the ritual book would end up on ebay. So please, keep your eyes open just in case... and hang on to that ritual gear!

That is sad to hear. I hope that it does turn up somewhere so that you can get it back.

As Beth said, we had something similar happen last year. Our Archon's car was stolen from campus with most of our Phi Sig stuff in it - all our awards, our scrapbook, the old and new Chapter Excellence books (including the winning one), recruitment stuff etc. The only thing lucky for us is that the Ritual box was in the meeting room with us at the time. it was the most horrible feeling though when we walked outside and realized the car was missing

OH NO>>>

As a Catholic, I believe we have patron saints that look out for us. Saint Anthony is the Saint of Lost Causes. I will Pray that You guys find it, but most importantly, the wrong people don't!

Sorry to crash, but I think St. Anthony is the patron of lost items, and St. Jude is the patron of lost or hopeless causes. Just to be safe, I'll ask them both to intercede for you!!

Good luck-

A Catholic AOII
