Yeah, but I can still remember the riots in the eighties. Phi Sigs were offended by the Bangles' song, "Walk Like an Egyptian" and they burned and looted record stores all over the country.

It was awful.

Clearly the college girls would come out on top in that match-up! We'll take down any perps - even pro football players...

I have a mental picture of the Thetas at my school (gorgeous, long blonde hair, stiletto heels, the whole nine yards) angrily charging the Steelers. And it's funny.

Hey Ladies. I know I don't post in the general section often and Sigma Alpha is still a young sorority. But I think y'all would all be in trouble with us. Not that y'all collect our mascot but do y'all eat steak or hamburgers? Since our mascot is the baby bull, y'all are committing the utilimate crime against your fellow Greeks!! How dare you????

I used to know someone from the Sigma Alpha chapter at Michigan State University. I told her that it was cool that your jewel is the Emerald since that's my birthstone. I guess all of the ladies born in May, including myself, will have to hide our jewelry. ...

My sorority mascot is not used by any other house...as far as I know. But if it is...the mob will be "taking you for a ride" *nudge nudge wink wink* The otterbein mascots are pretty interesting...

Tau Delta- Siamese Cat
Theta Nu- The Deer
Sigma Alpha Tau- Owl (although I think they might use a pledge pin similar to Chi Omega...it's a tiny owl, very cute!)
Tau Epsilon Mu- (honorable) Greenworm (also tres cute)
Epsilon Kappa Tau- Pink Panther
Kappa Phi Omega- Scottie Dog (I have such a love for scottie dogs, like CRAZY! I love their dining room, it's full of scottie statues and such).

Eta Phi Mu (Jonda) - Yellow Submarine
Pi Kappa Phi (not national)- Running shoe
Zeta Phi- Rat
Pi Beta Sigma- Bulls
Lambda Gamma Epsilon (Kings) -Crown
Sigma Delta Phi (Spinx)- Sphinx
Alpha Sigma Phi colony- Phoenix.

Phi Sigma Sigma...there is a fraternity here that calls themselves Sphinx. Their letters are sigma delta phi, but they never use them, they always use sphinx.
