Actually, being a white male, all of your examples below apply to me. Not because I am white, not because you're black
Well golley gee, it sure is interesting to know that all the mud a black person has been through, so have I. How can that be, I'm white?
Quit painting your picture so dark, and quit painting my picture so bright. You do this to yourself.

But you know what happened to me?
Let's see:
*I've been followed around in stores, and I've never stole a day in my life.
*I've been told that I was a engineering major at my alma mater because of affirmative action. (NO, I'm just smarter than you!).
*I've had people act like I'm going to steal their purse.
*My friends and I are targeted by the police all the time.
So what did I do to deserve this? Nothing except be African American. I've never broken the law, I pay my taxes, and I pay my bills.
Maybe you should educate the people who think I'm a criminal just because of my color, since slavery didn't happen to me.

Sorry, but I don't do anything to myself. I don't believe that I'm a victim, but I do believe that there are those who hate me based off my race.
Save the victim talk for someone who really believes they are one, though I don't believe your "caring" manner will reach them.

Well, I think I will go make My Vanilla Ice Cream and take out the black left over ashes from the fire place.
Vanilla because I can add many toppings, and Black Ashes, because that is the color of them!
I cant be racist, I dont like anybody!

And no I won't see it the same way as they do. Living in a town that was 97% Hispanic, I guarantee you that people were racist towards me. That was a horrible experience for me.

But you can move somewhere else and not experience these issues.

And no I won't see it the same way as they do. Living in a town that was 97% Hispanic, I guarantee you that people were racist towards me. That was a horrible experience for me. The anger comes from someone saying that because I'm not black and because "my ancestors didn't help build this country against their will" I couldn't possibly understand or have experienced racism. It is a problem that runs rampant through this country. NO doubt..........but it's not just whites against blacks. It is true that I've never been followed in a store or pulled over bc of my race or looked at like I was going to steal something. TRUE...........BUT I have experienced someone being racist towards me. I did go home crying at least 3 times a week for 4 years until finally I was transfered to another school. That's my point. If I knew the solution, I'd be the first to offer a solution. I'm sure I sound like a racist biggot myself but that couldn't be farther from the truth. I really think I'm through discussing this issue, it's making me sick to my stomach.
Thank you for your input Valkyrie. I'm sorry that I've come across as angry, but I hope my point is understood as much as hers is.

No one is saying that you were not discriminated against. But what you don't seem to understand is when you leave the 97% Latino community you are back to the real world where being White is right, where you are the majority. Guess what? As a Black person, I can't pretend to be someone else because I still have that skin color problem. There is not a place where I can go where I am the majority.
Slavery was a long time ago but it has everlasting affects on who we as a people now. Some Blacks and Whites still have that slavery mentality. No one is here to try to bring understanding to any non-minority person because until you have been in our shoes, you could never understand. I bet most of you think that racism has gotten better over the years. IT HASN'T! It has gotten worse just more on the DL(down low).

Yes, in The USA, Slavery was a long time ago but to perpetuate it is almost as bad. Carry The Cross of burden, but dont hoist it upon everyones backs.
Read the papers and see what is going on in many other Countries. How different is it there than what is said about here? Are you being killed in mass, no, I dont think so!
Do you really try to get along or just feel I am who I am and screw you all?
Do the Non White-so-called Greek Organizations try to interact with other Greek Organizations? It seems that some of you answer that question to quickly and without any thought.
If I or anyone else do not know you or vice versa, how can You or I speak out about anything?
If you were not in bondage then dont talk about it, quit being I was a relative of a slave. There are no mare slaves allowed by law in the USA!
Do not ever try to tell me that there was never Bondage among white people, Irish, Itialians, Asians, South Americans, Mexicans and many others.
Your cross of life is almost to much to bear.

DUDE.
THERE IS NO COMPARISON.
The Transatlantic Slave Trade is what built this country.
The legacy of the Transatlantic Slave Trade is what keeps this country divided.
There is no escaping the effects of slavery.
DON'T GET IT TWISTED. There are very REAL things that happen in America BECAUSE OF slavery.
Whhhyyyyyy do I even try.......

Thank you for climbing up on your Tide Soap box and spouting your laundry of dirt.
If you do not understand it, maybe some others will!
While your opinion is valuable, I guess the Moderator of the Site feels it is not needed to give your little wish.
Narrow Mindedness is not a one way street. Which way are you driving on a one way street or a two way?
Oh, so study your history, it was also Blacks who sold People to the Traders first off Dutch I think. Also, there were Slave Traders who owned ships and brought the poor people over and sold them wqho were Blacks.
Your cross does get heavy doesnt it?
