			Hey Katie!

Well, I was Pres. last year, so hopefully I can give you some ideas to get you rolling at least.

I think you're best bet is to take a really honest look at your chapter right now: it's strengths and weaknesses and any areas that chapter members as a whole feel are unsatisfactory. It could be as simple as improving chapter meetings so that they run more smoothly and finish more quickly--it depends on what your chapter does right now though. I know when I became President, I worked really hard at making sure sisters actually had their reports ready ahead of time for the agenda and tightening up on formal meetings because everyone had started to get a little too casual and informal.

Look at all areas of chapter programming. Is your chapter so big that you hardly know any of your sisters? Our VP Programs implemented a program that she calls "I am DeeZee" where every week throughout the year, 1 or 2 sisters will give a brief presentation about themselves--likes, hobbies, family, career dreams, or whatever they want to talk about, so that by the end of the year, we've all had a chance to 'reintroduce' ourselves. It's been a really neat way for us to get to know each other a little better.

Hope this gives you some ideas!
