I guess I just need people's good thoughts.

My parents, change that my mother, is getting on my very last nerve.

I casually mention today that in two weeks I am going to buy something for my new house and I want to store it in the garage. The next thing I know I'm getting attacked about "not putting enough money away" and too "not ask me (my mom) for money when I can't come up with the closing costs".

Ugh. All I said is that I'm going to buy a new desk unit from my brothers store (staples) that is 100 bucks. Mind you I'm getting roughly 1400 a paycheck now that I'm contracted. I said I'm putting 650-700 a paycheck away for the house. Suddenly that's not enough. Hello, one paycheck could cover my mortgage payment!!!!! I get that I have other bills to pay and whatnot once I have the house, but I still have other bills I have to pay now.

It's just so annoying. They didn't want to even listen to me. I've made the decsion that the MINIMUM that I must put away every paycheck is 650, but if I can afford to put more away I will. I just wish they would stop their damn talking and bitching and actually take a moment to listen to me. But unfortunately with my mother, that is a next to impossible task (can y'all tell we don't get along).

Thanks for "listening" y'all. I just really needed to get the frustrations my parents are putting on me off my chest.
