she did play in a band! i had rock and roll barbie, complete with crimped hair and a pink crimped streak. denim and leather and a square record that you could play the rock and roll barbie song on. my fisher price record player never got so much use.
i had valentine barbie *which i think i was the only one who bought it* it was my first barbie, she's still in mint condition. she was a BRUNETTE *this was 1984 or 85, i think*. she had this red heart-shaped top and a white skirt with red hearts on it. ruby red lips...man, she was the bomb! i got graduation barbie in 97 when i graduated high school. *gift from my mum, ho knows how much i loved barbie*
