ETA: I don't normally do this, but I have to share with y'all the lyrics to the title track. I love this song. If I still worked at the school, I'd make a lesson plan out of this (journal or essay assignment). There are parts I'm not 100% sure what they say, so I'll put those verses in italics.

My man's CD came out on Tues. Dangit...I had no CLUE!! I have to get that and John Legend's (Epitome and one of my friend are >there< with the Legend love) CD this weekend.

I'm not a big JonB fan, but dang, I normally know when people have CD's coming out. I didn't even know he had a single. Do they play it on the radio? I feel so out of touch. First BIIM now JB.

Donnie Hathaway (my favorite artist of allll time) has a new live cd out. I just found about it and ordered it off Amazon!!

Ok, I did a search and read the lyrics to some of the songs. I'm diggin' the song My Life. What kind of music is it? Like, if you could compare it to somebody, who would be comparable? R&B or NeoSoul or Jazzy or all of the above? How old is this cat?
