Members of AST CAN NOT be members of any little sister or auxillary group tied to a fraternity. You can be selected to be a chapter sweetheart, but cannot be a "little sister" nor be a member of a group that is connected to a fraternity or where its sole purpose is to serve or promote a particular fraternity.

Actually, that is an NPC resolution (which is different from a Unanimous Agreement) so all NPC groups should be following that info. I'm sure some groups are more strict on that than others.

The "brother fraternity" thing is a tradition of some sort on most campuses....most of the time it's whomever a majority of the sisters are dating. On my campus, you could easily pair up several of the sororities and fraternities based on who is dating whom, but those pairings have changed since I've graduated (heck, they changed when I was there!!!)
