Badge and Charm on eBay

Sisters,

Happened across one of our goldklad badges and a 10k gold letter charm (aka lavalier, which I am pretty sure I can't spell, lol) for sale on ebay. Would really like to see a sister get this set. It seems a good deal so far, though shipping is a bit high (imho).

So, if you, or your little sister, is in need of these items, might want to take a look soon (ends in 4 days).

p.s. I have no connection to the seller, just wanted to make you all aware so it stays in the family. If one of the Sigma Alphas reading this winds up winning the auction, please post here!

Are the current bidders any of you Sigma Alpha's? I don't want to bid against y'all. Of course, if the current bidders are not SA's then I definitely will bid (just to keep it out of their hands).

I always hate to see things like that. Why the heck would someone sell our badge on Ebay. If it is a sister that is selling, she should have given it back to her chapter. Isn't that badge considered National Sorority property. If someone gets it that isn't a Sigma Alpha, can it be taken? Arrg, that is so frustrating!!!!!!!!

EMERALDS to the sisters trying to save the badge

BULLCHIPS to the seller! How could she possibly let our badge get into the hands of a collector or anyone thats not a sister! I don't think that shows much respect for Sigma Alpha

Just my opinion.

Please ladies, please make it your wish to get your badge into the hands of a sister in the event that you feel you don't need to own one anymore of heaven forbid that something happen to you.

Glad it went to a Sigma Alpha! (I figured it probably would, once we knew about it!!) I don't mind seeing the other items sell on ebay, because you can get that stuff (letters, shirts, decorative items) almost anywhere, but our badges should stay within Sigma Alpha.

Don't want to be too hard on the seller, because we don't know how she came by these items, but it is a good reminder to find a chapter, nationals or a sister to take over ownership of one's badge in the event it is no longer (heaven forbid) wanted.
