This is for all math, science, and engineering majors looking for funding for theier masters and PhDs.
It's called the
GEM fellowship and its purpose is to increase the number of minorities who obtain graduate degrees (master and PhD) in the math, science, and engineering fields. If you're selected to be a GEM fellow, it will provide you with full tuition to the school of your choice (selected among a very diverse list of member institutions) PLUS a stipend PLUS two summers of paid internships at a company.
I was blessed enough to be selected for this and I've really benefited from this fellowship progam. If/when I decide to pursue my PhD, I will definitely apply again. I hope someone can benefit from this information.
