I just decided to check out this forum...and how did I know that Sarah would post here?! LOL!
I'm the person she came to visit in Dallas! I know how much she loved it there (so did I...I lived there for 10 months!
)
Anyway, my opinion of Dallas for ya Cutiepie2000.....LOVE it! Being Canadian is a great thing there. My boyfriend and I lived there with 3 other guys from university (Art's brother and 2 friends from Dal) and we kept getting more guys they knew from Dal moving to Dallas! Just be warned, if you get a job there and they find out you're from Canada you'll probably here "eh" and "aboot" said to you a lot...in mocking of us Canadians!!!!
Dallas is all about the money! All the guys there that we knew made tons of it....there is a HUGE tech section (actually Art found out that Dallas is second to the Silicon Valley for development in the comp fields!) The people there are really nice (more nice once they found out we were Canadian!
) and the city is great for things to do!
Where are you from in Canada? I know that Art and I moved to Dallas from Toronto (where he was working at the time) and we did miss Toronto a lot, but found it to be similar to Dallas in regards to things to do there!
