Unfortunately I cannot attend their event this Friday, due to an already scheduled conflict. But I asked them to let me know about anymore events!!

Lets hope I receive more emails or phone calls, and just am filled with sorority COB events

Well I was SOOO discouraged by not getting ANY thing from any sorority, that when she emailed me I wrote "You definitely made my day!!" lol...so I hope that didnt sound too excited

AHHH lol, this is soooo super exciting for me!!!! Sorry, I get a lil crazy when I'm happy :-D

I would caution you to be a little more laid back about things. It's okay to express your interest, but be careful not to overdo it. Additionally, discretion is key.

Co-sign! Not being discreet can kill things REAL QUICK. Quite a few GCers have experienced this first hand

*****UPDATE******

Hey all!

Well I went to a COB event tonight!! It was my first one ever, I found out about an hour before it started!

I wont tell you who it was, but I did get invited to this one, one tomorrow, and then another one. The one I couldn't make fell through and they are changing the date, soooo I think I can go to the rescheduled one.

I really enjoyed the girls tonight. The recruitment chair met me outside of the house, and basically introduced me to a lot of the girls, and stayed with me, and then about 30 minutes later walked around with other people. I knew 1 girl there, and her and another sister and I talked for about an hour ( I sorta wished to talk to other sisters, but it was good to talk and listen and all ). The other COB girls (2 others) and I got to know each other well to. We got to watch a video, very cute! We spent about 2 hours with each other, when we all kind of left. (Others had left earlier, but I was one of the last few to leave).

Tomorrow there is a luncheon at the school, lets see how it all goes!!!

Well hello all!

I had a good luncheon today. It was very casual, relaxed. Girls came in after classes, or left early because of classes. I talked to about 4 girls. Not as many as I would have hoped, but we were sitting down eating basically.

They said I would know by the end of the weekend if I got a bid, but I really would like to go to other events before I have to make a decision about joining a sorority...so, what should I do if they give me one but I want to test out other waters first?? :-\

That's a really tough call to make.

Do you like these girls? REALLY like them? Because if so, I'd just accept the bid if you get one. If you really feel comfortable with them, I'd just go for it.

How many more groups invited you to COB events? And how long will it be until their events?

I liked these girls, but I liked last nights girls more.

Im invited in 1 more COB event tomorrow, but there is one chapter that hasn't even started COB yet, and starting next week. Now I may/may not get an invitation from them, but if I do I would love to check them out.

I think if I do get a bid I want to ask if they will let me think about it a little more, since its a life time decision that I am making... ya know?

You can ask them if you can wait to think about it, but if you go to other COB events, I will warn you that they might not take that so well.
