Flex Quota

Is any other school using this method for setting quota? I'm advising our chapter at Cal State Fullerton and its the first time I have heard of it.

Basically panhellenic doesnt set a specific number. They will look at a range of numbers say 35-40 for quota and run the number of PNMs and how they place in each of the houses for each number in that range. They will try to pick the number in that range where the most number of houses make quota and get the largest percent of girls from their top list. So if there are 6 houses on campus and if quota is 40 only 4 houses make quota but if quota is 37 5 houses make quota then they will set quota to 37.
