If y'all let me crash also.

I have been in the same situation, and I also chose the job option.

I know I can't speak for your friend, but I also think that the job is more important.

I've never been the bride, but knowing how busy wedding days can be, I'm sure your friend will understand your situation. And I know she knows you won't be "just blowing off" her day. At least you'll be sending them a thoughtful gift to let them know you'll be thinking of them...and honestly, that's what matters.

It's something that you've thought long and hard on, so I'm sure she'll definitely understand.

BTW, [something between You and Me], I ran into Jason Gesser's dad today and it was a TRIP. Found out that he just got married, but dad is planning a homecoming party at MY bar sometime next year. I'm glad he's doing great despite that DUI. Yeah, ask me later, lol.
