The Matrix...corniest ending!
The Banger Sisters--keep it moving! was boring!
scary movie 3--the worst one of them all! 1 and 2 was stupid, but had laughs. the theater was packed when i saw it, and everyone walked out telling people to sell their tickets back. it was that bad.
Friday--just didnt click with me. the other two were horrible.
Belly--I had to watch this for a class once--i was ashamed to be from queens. hot mess all over.
*still trying to get into Big Fat Greek Wedding*
predictions of horrible movies to come:
Beautyshop
scary movie 4(yes there is another coming! eek!)
spiderman 3 (or whatever they plan to call it)
Kill bill 3 (quentin should be ashamed!)
underlying theory: in all trilogies that arent planned, the 3rd always flops. the 2nd is usually the best, but teh 3rd almost always sux!
p.s. i LOVED american beauty!

I agree with some of the people:
Blair Witch Project
Stompin' the Yard -- way too overrated
Waist Deep -- that movie was wack!

Cosign on Love Jones.... I'm sorry, I just don't buy Larenz Tate.
V for Vendetta was good, but overrated.

OMG!!! I love that movie!
But I can say that these movies were overated:
Stomp the Yard
Shrek III
I'll add more when I can think of them

Stomp the Yard was definetly too hyped up in the commercials and stuff but it was still a good movie. They definetly exercised the use of Chris Brown's name to pull fans and movie goers.
Me being into all things BGLO related, I skipped over all the stepping and really saw it for its almost ignored second point, the purpose of Greek orgs. The pride in being involved in a close knit organization that's doing something for its community and it's people. Like dude said "A fraternity, now that's a brotherhood. If all you're looking for is steeping and a sweet deal then this is not the organization for you." (Or something like that)
Second to the guys running up the hill , my favorite scene is the one in Heritage Hall when DJ learns about all the other orgs history.

How can you not love Purple Rain? I love Larenz Tate!!! It's about time for another black romantic comedy/movie. I think the last good one was Brown Sugar.

it was a class called "young gifted and black in the 21st century." it was an experimental class, the professor was a big film buff and wanted to capture the cinematic element of "our generation."
he was "really shocked" when we canme back to class and told him how horrible it was! and me being from queens, i was like "queens is not that gangsta, sorry to dissapoint yall." it was hilarious!
we also had to watch the first few episodes of "Moesha" cause he felt that was the first sitcom that focused on a black teenager.
the class was a HAM but at the same time i loved it!
