I actually did something kinda similar to your story, S&S.
I was drunk and making out on my bed. We accidently rolled off the bed and completely knocked over my nightstand. The whole entire mattress went with us. We were too drunk to pick ourselves (and the furniture) back up so we just kept making out on the floor.
I lived in a townhouse and my roommate lived in the bedroom below mine. The next day, my poor roommate was so tired because she had been woken up from a large BANG (the nightstand) and couldn't go back to sleep.
To this day, I have no idea how we knocked the nightstand over. The thing is HEAVY. I just moved out of my apartment a couple of weeks ago and my roommate and I were struggling to lift it up.
