It was a new-ish designer Laura.

I'm not sure when it'll re-run...

All I have to say is this:

If I opened my eyes to see that room, I would have cried and said to the camera, "This room SUCKS." And this is coming from a person who loves the color purple. I always thought it would be cool to have a lavendar room--but after seeing this episode, I totally changed my mind. What was up with that one pink painted carpet thing? And the piano--I played for 15 years and what they did to that this is HORRENDOUS. If I were the Sigma DG's I would ask Theta to help pay to repaint the room--especially since the DGs did an AWESOME job over there.
I'm from Evanston originally and I've always wanted to knock on the Sigma house door...always a little too afraid though (which my friend Allison thinks is funny since she's a Sigma alum). Hopefully when I ever do, the house won't look like that! Poor girls. They did amazing though and should be proud of themselves--they showed how awesome DGs truly are; especially since they handled their 'fugly' room gracefully on tv.

Deadbear80, I wish you would go visit! I've NEVER heard of any Delta Gamma not getting a warm welcome at another DG chapter!

I know I'm being a dork about it--and I know that I'll get a warm welcome, I just haven't done it yet. Some of it has to do with timing to though, the past few times I've been home, Northwestern is either on break, or, as in the case of this weekend when I'm home, it's summer and I know there aren't a lot of people around. One of these days it'll happen!
I've also wanted to do the same at U of I (that's Illinois). They let my chapter sisters use their house for our rush retreat this past year. When I was in school we used the Mizzou house (long story why my chapter isn't allowed to do that anymore; PM me for info. on that if you really care). So at least I've been to another DG house...I'll let y'all know if I actually get up the nerve to knock on the door at Sigma!
