Hi 33girl!
The last time I talked to the Director of Student Activities, he said he really wants to have a national system in place by the end of this semester. Since we started back last week, I haven't seen him nor have I talked with any of the national reps that called me but I hope hope hope that all is going well!
Since I last posted about this, the VP sent out a questionnaire to the faculty asking what kind of hazing had gone on in our classes and how it had affected our teaching those 3 weeks. It affected my classes a lot since I had all freshmen, almost 90% Greek. I know that plenty of other professors let them have it too. I think that national groups will have loads of interested students if they stress that no hazing is allowed in addition to all the other great benefits!
