whoa. that new twist at the end is crazy. the last team has to empty their pockets and start the next leg of the race with no money that is rough
I was *so* happy to see the moms get an extension, evil though it may be to take all of their dough.

Glad that Chip and Kim and the twins seem to have made up, for now... It'll cost Chip, though.

LOL at Colin and Christie arguing. Classic. They don't have the Luck of the Evil, though.

My husband believes that Mirna and Charla have the Luck of the Annoying, though. [Charla isn't evil.]

As for speaking more slowly-- yes! it helps! Accents and speaking LOUD do nothing, but speaking slowly definitely helps. I couldn't make out most French when I was overseas, but when people were talking slowly, like a *good* tour guide or a patient ticket agent, I could understand about 80% of what they meant, and 50% of what they were actually saying.

As a follow-up to last week: my husband saw an article (on Television Without Pity, I think) that the kilo of caviar was approximately 2800 calories, and the salt/sodium was around seven times the recommended daily allowance. So seven times the salt and over twice the calories that I have in an average day, eaten in one sitting. Bleaurgh.
