Ugh. I went to see The Village on Sunday and there was a group of four older women and a toddler off to my left. About a third of the way into the movie, the kid starts getting fussy and instead of taking the baby into the lobby, one of the women picks him up and just takes him down to the front of the theater where he screams even louder!! These same women spent most of the movie talking and laughing with each other. I still haven't decided which was more annoying.
I still remember going to the midnight showing of the latest Lord of the Rings and being appalled at how many parents brought their little kids. The movie didn't even get out until 4am and most of those kids got CRANKY.
And don't even get me started on little kids in nice restaurants.
