I had a couple of friends go to UCR out of high school and from what I've been told being a junior PNMs is not a problem at all, their rush is not nearly as competitive as other schools and is pretty laid back. Go in to recruitment with an open mind and I'm sure everything will be fine! Good luck and keep us posted!
